Del Norte won the last time they faced Rancho Bernardo and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Nighthawks narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Broncos 6-4. The victory was familiar territory for the Nighthawks, who have now won four matches in a row.
Brooklyn Giaime made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with one home run and two runs.
