Basketball Recap: Lakeview Makes It Six in a Row at Home

There's no place like home for Lakeview, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They snuck past the Classical Magnet Gladiators with a 63-58 victory on Saturday. The Warriors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Gladiators, too.

Lakeview was led to victory by Jack Gollow and Quinn Coffey. Gollow posted 17 points in addition to seven boards and five assists, while Coffey shot 50% from the field on his way to 16 points. Gollow's big performance that afternoon made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 17 points. Another player making a difference was Joe Sepples, who put up seven points.

Lakeview pushed their record up to 15-7 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.7 points over those games. As for Classical Magnet, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-3.

Lakeview wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 54-46 loss against Woodstock Academy on the 3rd. Classical Magnet has also already played their next matchup (against Academy of Aerospace and Engineering), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
