Lindblom will head out on the road to face off against Hancock at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Lindblom's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last five matchups.
Lindblom's last matchup with Payton College Prep could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Saturday. The Eagles lost 17-10 to the Grizzlies. The Eagles' loss signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.

Andres Aguirre was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-5 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. He has been hot, having posted three or more hits the last six times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Xoaquin Frausto-Morales, who went 1-for-4 with one run and one RBI.
Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Friday. Hancock took a 10-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lindblom.
Hancock got a massive performance out of Saul Martinez, who went 4-for-5 with six stolen bases, two runs, and one double. Another player making a difference was Ryan Ostrowski, who went 2-for-5 with four stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.
Hancock's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9-1. As for Lindblom, their loss dropped their record down to 9-4-1.
Monday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Lindblom has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .544. However, it's not like Hancock struggles in that department as they've averaged .467. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Lindblom was able to grind out a solid win over Hancock in their previous matchup on Friday, winning 10-7. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lindblom since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
