Mercy has been on the road for three straight, but  on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Fern Creek Tigers at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Both teams come into the  game bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 Last Thursday, Mercy earned  a  9-5 win over Bullitt East.
  Lyla Ballou spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned  (and one unearned) runs on nine hits.
 At the plate, Mercy got a  massive  performance out of  Allie Streble, who  went 2-for-3 with a  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Madison Degrella, who  went 1-for-4 with a  home run and four  RBI.
 Meanwhile,  after only one  run in their last  match, Fern Creek made sure to put some  runs up on the board against Christian Academy-Louisville  on Tuesday. Fern Creek was the clear victor by  a  12-2 margin over Christian Academy-Louisville.
 The  victory  got Mercy back to even at 12-12. As for Fern Creek, their win bumped their record up to 8-9.
 Mercy came out on top in a nail-biter against Fern Creek  in their previous matchup  back in May of 2023, sneaking past  4-3. Will Mercy repeat their success,  or does  Fern Creek have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
