Baxter will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Collins-Maxwell at 7:00 PM. Both teams have had a rocky road up to this point with three consecutive losses for Baxter and four for Collins-Maxwell.
Baxter took a serious blow against Melcher-Dallas last Friday, falling 0-52. The state rankings had actually given Baxter a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
Meanwhile, Collins-Maxwell have to be hurting after a devastating 22-43 loss at the hands of AGWSR.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a defeat, both will be hungry for the victory. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
