In what's become a running theme this season, the Aquin Catholic Bulldogs gave their fans yet another huge victory on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 57-18 victory over Dakota at home. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 34-12.
Aquin Catholic found their leader in underclassman Paityn London, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which London has scored at least a third of Aquin Catholic's points. Hanna Broge was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with three steals.
Despite the loss, Dakota saw an underclassman step up: Bella Keyes scored seven points along with five rebounds.
Aquin Catholic is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record this season. As for Dakota, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-18 record this season.
