Wootton won the last time they faced Blake and things went their way on Friday too. The Wootton Patriots blew past the Blake Bengals, posting a 55-16 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Patriots have posted since January 24th.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Wootton to victory, but perhaps none more so than Maya Gopstein, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and 19 rebounds. The dominant performance gave Gopstein a new career-high in points. Maya Bellamy was another key player, putting up five points in addition to nine boards and five assists.

Wootton's victory bumped their record up to 8-12. As for Blake, they dropped their record down to 7-16 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight at home.
