Coachella Valley suffered their biggest loss since December 13, 2023 on Friday. They suffered a rough 65-40 loss at the hands of Yucca Valley. Coachella Valley was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 52-19.
The losing side was boosted by Franky Aguirre, who scored 13 points.
Meanwhile, Cathedral City's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their eighth straight loss. They were outmatched by Indio at home and fell 106-27. Cathedral City has not had much luck with Indio recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Coachella Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 5-17. As for Cathedral City, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost 12 of their last 13 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-19 record this season.
