Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Sargent to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Kandace Pargin, who  almost  dropped  a double-double on nine points and nine  rebounds. Pargin has been hot recently, having also posted two or more  steals the last four times she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Angelise Garcia, who  went 6 of 11  en route to 14  points and seven  boards.
 Sargent  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 17  offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least eight  offensive rebounds in four consecutive  games.
 Meanwhile, Monte Vista came up short against  Centauri on Saturday, falling  52-31. While losing is never fun, the Pirates can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings  (they are ranked 121st, while the Falcons are ranked 33rd).
