After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lincoln Southwest, Lincoln High was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Omaha Northwest Huskies as the Lincoln High Links made off with a 62-38 win. The victory continues a trend for the Links in their matchups with the Huskies: they've now won four in a row.

Loss or not, Omaha Northwest got some senior leadership from Jessica Houston and Abriya Watkins. Houston went 6-for-14 to rack up 16 points and three blocks, while Watkins posted ten points and six boards. That was a full 42.1% of Omaha Northwest's points, marking the third time in a row Houston has had more than a third of the team's points.

Lincoln High pushed their record up to 11-5 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.3 points over those games. As for Omaha Northwest, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.

Lincoln High didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 45-35 victory against Lincoln East on the 7th. As for Omaha Northwest, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, an 85-49 defeat against Omaha Central on the 7th.
