The Amity Regional Spartans will be playing in front of their home fans against the Hillhouse Academics at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Amity Regional waltzed into their matchup on Friday with three straight wins but they left with four. They strolled past Guilford with points to spare, taking the game 55-40.
Meanwhile, Hillhouse can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent game on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Wilbur Cross 67-31 on the road. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Hillhouse has posted yet this season.
Amity Regional's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Hillhouse, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 6-6 record this season.
Amity Regional ended up a good deal behind Hillhouse in their previous matchup back in January of 2023, losing 54-37. Can Amity Regional avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
