Sachse is a perfect 10-0 against South Garland since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Sachse Mustangs will host the South Garland Titans at 12:30 p.m. Sachse is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.8 runs per game this season.
For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Sachse and North Garland meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Tuesday. Sachse's pitcher stepped up to hand North Garland a 15-0 shutout.
Logan Schultz made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. That's the fewest hits she has allowed since back in April of 2024. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Brooke Robinson, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in RBI. Kendyl Cruz was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.
Sachse kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in six consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, South Garland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 25-7 to North Garland.
Kimberly Rivera made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 1-for-4. That hit was her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Sydney Cruz, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
Sachse has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. South Garland's loss dropped their record down to 1-6.
South Garland's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Sachse has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .486. It's a different story for South Garland, though, as they've only averaged .322. Will they be able to contain Sachse's hitters?
