The North Florida Educational Institute Fighting Eagles fell victim to the Beachside Barracudas''s stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They were outmatched by the Barracudas on the road and fell 49-0. While losing is never fun, North Florida Educational Institute can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 357th, while Beachside is ranked 145th).
Edward Jordan was his usual excellent self, throwing for 178 yards and four touchdowns. Cohen Beebe also helped out with an impressive 81 receiving yards.
North Florida Educational Institute's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Beachside, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-1.
North Florida Educational Institute will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Dixie County at 7:30 p.m. on November 3rd. As for Beachside, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Providence School at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
