Winning always takes teamwork, but on Tuesday Savannah Pearson stepped things up a notch to give Taylor the 'W'. Pearson wasn't messing around, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. The pitching appearance was her sixth straight with two or fewer hits.

Pearson and Taylor will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Trinity Catholic at 6:00 p.m. The Wildcats will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 200 places lower in Florida), but they're not letting that get them down.
