Christ the King has been on the road for four straight, but on Thursday they'll finally head home. They will be home for the holidays to greet the Holy Trinity Tigers at 6:30 p.m. Holy Trinity took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Christ the King, who comes in off a win.
Last Monday, Christ the King didn't have too much trouble with Rochelle Zell Jewish on the road as they won 54-36. The victory was just what Christ the King needed coming off of a 66-23 defeat in their prior match.
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Holy Trinity, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 40-22 loss to Mather on Tuesday.
Christ the King has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. As for Holy Trinity, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.
Everything went Christ the King's way against Holy Trinity in their previous matchup back in February as Christ the King made off with a 57-37 victory. Will Christ the King repeat their success, or does Holy Trinity have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
