The Whitehall Vikings put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They took their match at home with ease, bagging a 80-31 victory over Fremont. Whitehall has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 25 points or more this season.
Camden Thompson was his usual excellent self, scoring 19 points along with eight rebounds and six steals. Thompson is absolutely dominating the rebound category: he's posted at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Trannon Aylor, who scored 11 points.
Whitehall's victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-0. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 78.0 points per game. As for Fremont, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7.
Whitehall will be playing in front of their home fans against Orchard View at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Orchard View is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak. As for Fremont, they will head out on the road to face off against Manistee at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
