The Kingman Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. Their rough 39-14 loss to Marana might stick with them for a while. Kingman lost against Marana in their previous head to head back in December of 2021, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 35-28 score last time.
Marana's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Adrian Griffin, who scored ten points along with six rebounds. The game was Griffin's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Katelynne Hendrickson was another key contributor, scoring six points.
Kingman has not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for Marana, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-7.
Kingman will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Kingman Academy at 5:30 p.m. on December 19th. Marana will take on Payson in a holiday battle at 5:30 p.m. on Friday at. Payson presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Marana in Arizona (Payson is ranked 68th, while Marana is ranked 244th).
