The biggest upset of the week belonged to Ravenswood, who took down 58th ranked Ravenswood, 26-23.
TREVOR SHEPLER and TYLER REED provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Lincoln. The connection was good for 86 yards, the longest such play in Little Kanawha this season.
Ritchie County's dynamic duo of SHEPLER and REED proved tough for the Cougars to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. SHEPLER threw for 234 yards and four touchdowns and REED had 88 yards receiving. DYLAN FRYE helped Ritchie County's passing attack out by catching four balls for 83 yards.
Wyatt Ford was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 150 yards on 18 carries as Doddridge County topped Lincoln. Teammate Devin Anderson added to the ground attack by rushing for 85 yards.
5-foot-11 quarterback Joshua Trembly of Wirt County is the league leader in passing yards this season with 994. He has also thrown seven touchdowns. On the ground, the Bulldogs' Ford has rushed for 806 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is FRYE. The Ritchie County star has 27 catches for 438 yards.
A big matchup in Little Kanawha this week will be when Williamstown takes on the Tigers. The Yellowjackets are currently in sixth, while Wirt County is in fourth.
Clay County was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from 15th to 11th in the league. Earlier in the week, the Panthers defeated Midland Trail 35-7.
