The Hillsdale Falcons scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They managed a 75-70 victory over Black River. Hillsdale's victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Black River's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was John Kray, who scored 27 points along with four steals. The game was Kray's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Zane Bungard was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds.
Hillsdale pushed their record up to 5-0 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Black River, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hillsdale's road trip will continue as they head out to face Norwayne at 7:00 p.m. on December 29th. Norwayne will be coming into the match with an undefeated record on the line. As for Black River, they will head out on the road to face off against Vermilion at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
