Cheyenne Wells Wins Sixth-Straight Thanks to Trey Scheler
Trey Scheler was instrumental in extending Cheyenne Wells's winning streak to six on Friday. Scheler rushed for 188 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in November of 2023. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 120 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Cheyenne Wells' win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0. A feisty cat fight will be fought when Tigers challenges Granada at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Tim Provost stepped things up a notch to give Cheraw the 'W'. Provost turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 88 yards and three touchdowns, while also picking up 52 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 65 yards.
For the year, Provost has caught 4 touchdowns while averaging 34.6 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after five games last season, he was only averaging 9.4 receiving yards per game.

Coleman Posts Huge Game in 48-6 Victory
Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Maddox Coleman stepped things up a notch to give Granada the 'W'. Coleman turned in nothing short of a gem, throwing for 91 yards and two touchdowns.
Walsh had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Coleman it was a similar story. When Coleman last faced the Eagles back in September of 2023, he rushed for 153 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 carries, and also threw for 99 yards and two touchdowns.

William Ledbetter posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 143 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.5 yards per carry.
For the year, Ledbetter has run in 10 touchdowns while averaging 79.7 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after six games last season, he was only averaging 10.67 rushing yards per game.

Granada was led to victory by Alejandro Perez, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Perez rushed for 69 yards and two touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
