Calallen has gone a perfect 5-0 against Zapata recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Calallen Wildcats will head out on the road to challenge the Zapata Hawks at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Calallen has five straight victories, Zapata has eight straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Calallen's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. Everything went their way against King as Calallen made off with a 15-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won ten matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.
Bianca Gonzales made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Furthermore, she didn't allow a single walk, the first time she has blanked an opponent since back in February. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in RBI.

Calallen's victory was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-4. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 10.7 runs. As for Zapata, their loss dropped their record down to 4-11-1.
Everything went Calallen's way against Zapata in their previous matchup back in April of 2022, as Calallen made off with an 11-5 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Calallen since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
