Chasity Garcia made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and seven unearned) runs off five hits. Those eight strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
In other batting news, Addison Giese was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, eight RBI, and two runs. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in RBI.
