There's no place like home for The South Philadelphia Rams, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They walked away with a 20-12 victory over Kensington on Friday. For South Philadelphia, this counts as revenge for the 50-6 loss Kensington walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2022.
South Philadelphia's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Khair Glascow, who rushed for 120 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries. Neelaj Armstead was another key contributor, picking up 150 receiving yards and a touchdown.
South Philadelphia's victory bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Kensington, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Philadelphia will face off against Olney at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Olney comes in on a streak of failing to score more than six points in their last five games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Kensington, they will head out on the road to face off against Northeast at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Northeast presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Kensington in Pennsylvania (Northeast is ranked 220th, while Kensington is ranked 454th).
