Woodcreek hasn't had much luck against Inderkum recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Woodcreek Timberwolves will take on the Inderkum Tigers at 7:30 p.m. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Woodcreek sitting on six straight wins and Inderkum on 16.
Last Wednesday, Woodcreek beat Vista del Lago 57-45. Given the Timberwolves' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 53rd, while the Eagles are ranked 396th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Max VanLaningham was his usual excellent self, going 9 of 15 on his way to 20 points in addition to six blocks and five boards. That's the most blocks he has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Zach Bualat, who posted 12 points.
Meanwhile, Inderkum took their game on Wednesday with ease, bagging an 89-40 victory over Bella Vista. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 25 points or more this season.
Woodcreek better focus on containing Siincere Hudson and Malachi Johnson as the pair were huge in Inderkum's win. Hudson went 9 for 16 en route to 20 points along with five assists and five steals, while Johnson dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. Hudson has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 14 times he's played. Taylen Goodman was another key player, putting up eight points and four steals.
Inderkum pushed their record up to 22-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 80.0 points per game. As for Woodcreek, their record now sits at 21-5.
Woodcreek came up short against Inderkum in their previous meeting back in January, falling 60-48. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Hudson, who put up 18 points and five assists. Now that Woodcreek knows the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time?
