Verbena came tearing into Thursday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Autaugaville Eagles as they made off with a 13-3 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 11-1 on Thursday.

Verbena pushed their record up to 9-9 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Autaugaville, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-6.
