Athens is  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 8-13. As for Mount Carmel, the  victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 18-3.
 Athens didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  match,  a  65-45  win against Blue Ridge on the 10th. As for Mount Carmel, they will be taking part in a tournament against Warrior Run  at 6:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
