Ada's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. Everything went their way against Columbus Grove as they made off with an 11-0 victory. The win continues a trend for Ada in their matchups with Columbus Grove: they've now won four in a row.
Meanwhile, Ridgemont had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They put the hurt on Perry with a sharp 14-0 victory on Thursday. With that win, the Golden Gophers brought their scoring average up to 6.9 runs per game.
Aubrie Overly made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched. Ada's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-2. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.0 runs on average over those games. As for Ridgemont, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-5.
Everything went Ada's way against Ridgemont when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Ada made off with a 10-1 win. Do the Bulldogs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Golden Gophers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
