Pilot Point has been on the road for five straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. The Pilot Point Bearcats and the Bells Panthers will face off at 7:00 p.m. on December 12th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Pilot Point will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 1101st, while Bells is ranked 240th).
Last Saturday, Pilot Point was the victim of a tough 60-40 defeat at the hands of Honey Grove.
Meanwhile, Bells came tearing into Saturday's match with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.2 points) and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against Ford as Bells made off with a 51-31 win. Bells might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won five matchups by 20 points or more this season.
Pilot Point bumped their record down to 1-5 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Bells, their win bumped their record up to 11-2.
