East River has been on the road for two straight, but  on Friday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Tohopekaliga Tigers at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Both teams come into the  matchup bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 East River is headed into the  game fresh off scoring the most  runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Titusville with a sharp  20-5 win on Thursday. With that  victory, East River brought their scoring average up to 6.6  runs per game.
  Luke Davila looked comfortable as he  pitched three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in five consecutive pitching appearances.
 On the hitting side,  Ty Kennedy was a standout: he scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jace Gelinas, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-4.
 Meanwhile, Tohopekaliga sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  9-7  win over Gateway  on Thursday.
  Tyler Sheffield tossed a big game,   striking out six batters over  five innings while giving up just two earned runs off   one  hit.
 At the plate,  Hudson Moberly was  incredible,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-3.  Jackson Kook was another key contributor,  going 2-for-4 with four  RBI and a  stolen base.
 East River's victory bumped their record up to 13-10. As for Tohopekaliga, their win bumped their record up to an identical 13-10.
 East River took their  victory against Tohopekaliga  in their previous meeting  back in April of 2019 by a conclusive  18-6. Does  East River have another victory up their sleeve, or will Tohopekaliga turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
