The Central Linn Cobras will square off against the Crosshill Christian Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Central Linn took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They came out on top against Santiam by a score of 4-1. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Central Linn got a great performance from Beau Snyder as he struck out ten batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. The Cobras are 3-1 when Snyder posts eight or more strikeouts, but 1-8 otherwise.
On the hitting side, Central Linn's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Jacob Helms, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI. Helms has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.
Meanwhile, Crosshill Christian hadn't done well against Regis recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Eagles walked away with a 10-5 victory over the Rams. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Eagles considering their two-run performance the contest before.
The team relied heavily on Wesley Zorn, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double. That double was his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Tayden Isaacson, who went 3-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and one RBI.
With the win, Crosshill Christian broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-3. As for Central Linn, their victory ended an eight-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-9.
Central Linn was able to grind out a solid win over Crosshill Christian in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, winning 9-4. Will the Cobras repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
