Several Rockets players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Tristan Goad, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 10 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ben Villazon, who scored 17 points.
The last time Forrest won on the road was back last Thursday. Having now lost four straight away contests, they've bumped their record down to 0-6. As for Fayetteville, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.
Forrest will be playing at home against Cornersville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Cornersville is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak. As for Fayetteville, they will head out on the road to face off against Cascade at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
