The Linden Tigers are on the road again on Tuesday and play against the Kennedy Knights at 10:30 a.m. on December 26th. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.
Last Thursday, Linden suffered a rough 46-25 loss at the hands of Brearley.
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Kennedy, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 68-53 loss to Elizabeth on Saturday. Kennedy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
The losing side was boosted by My'Shayla Clancy, who scored 22 points along with six rebounds and three steals. The match was her fifth in a row with at least ten points. Perla Reyes was another key contributor, scoring 18 points.
Linden bumped their record down to 2-2 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Kennedy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.
Linden couldn't quite finish off Kennedy in their previous meeting back in February and fell 41-38. Can Linden avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
