Keira Weber made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out ten over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. That double marked the first that she has hit this season.
In other batting news, Kamryn Bonnell was excellent, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. Peyton Bonnell was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
Lyons was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .543. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .407 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.
