The biggest upset of the week belonged to Silver Valley, who took down 963rd ranked Silver Valley, 34-21. Tyler Wormhoudt ran for 249 yards in the win.
Mammoth made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 13,574 from 13,805. The improvement came about via a 34-21 victory over the Trojans last week.
Silver Valley's dynamic duo of Evan Martinez and Robert Santiago proved tough for the Huskies to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Martinez threw for 105 yards and Santiago had 41 yards receiving. James Liker helped Silver Valley's passing attack out by catching two balls for 41 yards.
Boron's Austyn Fink and Jadrian Wiser have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading Desert Mountain in both passing and receiving yards. Fink has thrown for 2947 yards this season, while Wiser, a 6-foot-3 receiver, has 50 catches for 1115 yards. Wormhoudt from Mammoth leads the league in rushing with 1266 yards.
Desert Christian led the league in scoring this week after putting up 56 points on Riverside Prep. Josh Kay ran for 134 yards in the win.
