The Kendall Eagles won the last time they faced the Pembroke Dragons, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Kendall came out on top against the Dragons by a score of 36-24. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Kendall.
Peyton Liss and Onolee Easterbrook certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Liss scored seven points along with five steals, while Easterbrook scored a point along with six rebounds and six steals. Easterbrook is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games she's played.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Pembroke struggled to work together and finished the game with only an assist. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Kendall's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Pembroke, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-6.
Kendall will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on the Blue Devils at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pembroke, they will head out on the road to challenge the Bees at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
