The Antelope Rams will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the North Phoenix Preparatory Academy Gladiators at 5:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with eight consecutive losses dating back to last season for Antelope and six for North Phoenix Preparatory Academy.
Last Friday, Antelope had to suffer through a rough 64-4 loss at the hands of North Valley Christian Academy. Antelope was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-0.
North Phoenix Preparatory Academy suffered their biggest defeat since December 5, 2023 on Friday. They took a serious blow against Bagdad, falling 42-6.
Samantha Daniel was North Phoenix Preparatory Academy's leading scorer, having posted three points.
Isabel Idemudia held things down on the boards with eight rebounds. She took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.
Antelope bumped their record down to 0-7 with that loss, which was their third straight at home. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 5.3 points per game. As for North Phoenix Preparatory Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-12.
