If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Fremont-Mills. They will challenge Griswold on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Fremont-Mills are cruising in on a three-game winning streak while Griswold are stumbling in off of four consecutive losses.
Fremont-Mills simply couldn't be stopped last Friday, as they easily beat Essex 66-8.
Meanwhile, there's no need to mince words: Griswold lost to Sidney, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 24-64. It was a tough break for Griswold, who improved upon an already decent score from the game before but lost both times.
Fremont-Mills's victory lifted them to 3-1 while Griswold's defeat dropped them down to 0-4. We'll find out if Fremont-Mills can add another positive mark to their record or if Griswold can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Fremont-Mills's step.
