While Mathews's victory against Harding wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Mustangs skirted past the Skippers 3-1. The Mustangs haven't had any issues with the Skippers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

The victory got Mathews back to even at 1-1. As for Harding, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mathews will face off against Mineral Ridge at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Harding, they will challenge Grand Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
