The Sabinal Yellowjackets can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Tuesday. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 69-37 victory over Charlotte. Winning may never get old, but Sabinal sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Ricardo Perez was his usual excellent self, scoring 33 points along with five assists and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Joseph Contreras was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds.
Sabinal has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-11 record this season. As for Charlotte, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-24.
Sabinal will be playing in front of their home fans against the Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Stacey is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road. As for Charlotte, they will take on the Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. La Pryor comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
