The Dexter Tigers posted their closest win yet this season on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Bangor Christian 32-30. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Dexter also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2020.
Dexter was led to victory by Zak Adams and Kody Kimball. Adams scored eight points along with five rebounds and two steals, while Kimball scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
The victory got Dexter back to even at 6-6. As for Bangor Christian, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-3.
Dexter will take on Foxcroft Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Maine (Foxcroft Academy is ranked 37th, while Dexter is ranked 57th). As for Bangor Christian, they will head out on the road to take on Searsport at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
