Diboll's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Zach Mitchell, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds. The contest was Mitchell's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Latavian Forney, who scored 15 points along with 3 steals.
West Hardin now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Diboll, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Hardin will take on Broaddus at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Broaddus is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Diboll, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Shepherd at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Shepherd focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Saturday.
