Paradise Honors had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They blew past the Shadow Mountain Matadors 17-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 19-0 last Tuesday.
Olivia Jimenez Facio made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with four RBI and one double.
In other batting news, Paradise Honors let Ashlyn Elliott and Pressley Fought run wild. Elliott went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and one double, while Fought scored four runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4.
