 On the hitting side, Illini Bluffs saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Toby Cooper, who  went 1-for-4 with one  run.
 Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Canton's offense. They lost  12-0 to Washington on Monday. The Little Giants have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Illini Bluffs pushed their record up to 16-5 with the  victory, which was their ninth straight  at home. The  home  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.9 runs on average over those games. As for Canton, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-16.
