Basketball Recap: UR Academy's Run of Three Straight Wins Now Over

After flying high against Judah Christian Academy on Tuesday, UR Academy came back down to earth. The Lions took a 43-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lake Pointe Academy Mariners on Friday. The game marked the Lions' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

The loss snapped UR Academy's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-2 record. As for Lake Pointe Academy, their win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-1.
