The Seaside Seagulls will be playing at home against the Estacada Rangers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.
Last Friday, Seaside didn't have too much trouble with St. Helens at home as they won 27-12.
Seaside found their leader in underclassman Ryder Jackson, who rushed for 185 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.4 yards per carry. Jackson is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last four games he's played.
Meanwhile, Estacada owes their defense a big pat on the back after their performance on Friday. Everything went their way against The Dalles as Estacada made off with a 23-0 win.
Seaside's victory was their fourth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 6-3. It's not like the team was facing easy opposition over that stretch either, as it included 8-1 La Salle and 7-2 Tillamook (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 66.7% over those games). As for Estacada, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5.
Things could have been worse for Seaside, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 30-14 loss to Estacada in their previous meeting back in September of 2021. Will Seaside have more luck at home instead of on the road?
