Buena Park is a perfect 3-0 against Katella since March of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Coyotes will square off against the Knights at 3:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Buena Park's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They blew past Ocean View 10-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Coyotes.
The result came thanks to Olina Burgueno's shutout, as she gave up just two hits.

On the hitting side, Mya Gonzalez was incredible, firing off two home runs, three runs, and three RBI while going 3-for-3. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Audrey Brolin also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Buena Park lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post two or more home runs.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Katella). They put the hurt on Calvary Chapel with a sharp 22-2 win on Thursday. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 14, 2025, but that streak is no more.
Dani Neville was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out ten over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double.
In other batting news, Katella got a massive performance out of Nataly Rodarte, who went 4-for-5 with one home run, four runs, and three RBI. Savana Silva was another key player, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with one home run, two stolen bases, and three RBI.
Katella now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Buena Park, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
Buena Park got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in May of 2025 against Katella by a conclusive 9-1 score. Do the Coyotes have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Knights turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
