The Utica Chieftains were able to grind out a solid  win over the Dryden Cardinals on Wednesday, taking the game  2-0. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Chieftains.

 Ella Tringali paced Utica's offense, picking up five kills. Tringali got some help from  Rachel Rettell and her eight assists.  Jada Austin and  Emily Adams kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with four aces apiece.
Utica's victory bumped their record up to 14-20-1. As for Dryden,  they are  on  a  12-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-21.
 Utica wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  matchup,  a  2-0  win against Sandusky on the 29th. As for Dryden, they will head out on the road to  take on  More Academy  at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday.
