Carthage barely beat Kilgore the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Carthage blew past Kilgore 14-4 on Tuesday. Carthage might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by eight runs or more this season.

Carthage's win bumped their record up to 10-12-1. As for Kilgore, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-16-1.

Coming up, Carthage will welcome Liberty-Eylau at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Leopards' pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so the Bulldogs' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Kilgore does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
