Jake Matthews put up the most points he's had since back in November on Friday. He wasn't messing around, going 8 of 12 en route to 25 points and five steals. The game was his third straight with two or more steals. He is becoming a predictor of Pollok Central's success: when he posts at least five steals the team is 11-5 (and 1-3 when he doesn't).

Matthews and Pollok Central will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Jefferson at 2:15 p.m. on December 31st.
