The Destin Sharks won the last time they faced the Freeport Bulldogs, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Destin claimed a resounding 86-39 victory over Freeport at home.
Destin's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Imaran Harris, who scored 19 points along with 6 rebounds and 5 assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Traiton Mauffray, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 assists.
Destin now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Freeport, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Destin will challenge Lighthouse Private Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Freeport's road trip will continue as they head out to face Graceville at 6:45 p.m. on December 8th.
